Being a parent is both fun and tough. Every child is special and there’s no one way to be a parent. That’s why we’re here to help and guide you through your amazing (and sometimes frustrating) journey of being a parent.

All the content here has been written by a real-life parent so hopefully you can relate to the situation and apply what is here for yourself.

Our Resident Expert:

I was always the geeky girl who couldn’t wait to get my report card – straight A’s, valedictorian, full-ride merit scholarship, and even a Truman Scholar from Colorado.  Thankfully I was always  curious and open to learning new things, so my life has never been dull.

But the real test of my skills?  Figuring out all sorts of parenting problems, even with the most challenging children which are like triple black diamond ski slopes or raw quail egg and sea urchin sushi.

I believe in using genius level common sense plus decades of real life experience to help parents thrive instead of just survive.  As we teach them to raise amazing humans, we sometimes shift both sides’ point of view and also keep expectations real.  The end result is better conversations that lead to happier people on both sides. 

With my eclectic experience in life, work, and hobbies, you can throw just about any question my way, and chances are, I’ll have something useful (or at least comforting) to say.
